Shatta Wale

Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has responded to the flyer having his picture on as a performer at 2019 Kundum Festival Mega Jam Concert slated for Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Victoria Park in Axim.

The flyer has the picture of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, King Promise, Kwesi Arthur, D-Black and other popular musicians but according to the controversial Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, he has no show to play in Axim.

Shatta Wale on his Facebook page descended heavily on the organisers of the show especially the Member of Parliament for Evalue Gwira, Catherine Abenlema Afeku for disrespecting him.

Shatta Wale wrote;

“I don’t have any show in Axim so any flyer you see is fake ..sometimes these our MP’s and ministers should stop thinking Ghana musicians are Kuborlor boys so they can just take advantage of us for their meaningless campaigns ..

If you want me , pay for my services like how the government pays you for your services and let’s stop this primitive life !! If you don’t have money why do a concert !!

Some of us hustle to get here without the help of government nor even musigha ..

My fans made me who I am today by the grace of God ,so please big men and women respect Ghana musicians ooo ton !!!!

We are tired aaaahhhba !!!”

Artistes Based In Ellembelle And Jomoro Angry After They Were Axed From List Of Musicians Billed To Perform At 2019 Kundum Festival Mega Jam Concert

0

Artistes based in Ellembelle and Jomoro Districts have expressed their worry over how none of them was billed to perform at the 2019 Kundum Festival Mega Jam Concert slated for Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Victoria Park in Axim, Evalue Gwira.

Performers billed to thrill music lovers on the night are Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, D-Black, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Joey B, Sefa, King Promise, Kelvyn Boy, Wendy Shay, Fameye and Kofi Kinaata.

Supporting acts are Don Kweli, Amazuke, Kweku Biney, Kojo Gyamfi and others all from Evalue Gwira District.

On the back of the above list which has no artiste from Ellembelle and Jomoro which forms a core part of the Nzema Entertainment Industry, they have bitterly expressed how disappointed they are in the Former Minister of Tourism and Member of Parliament for Evalue Gwira Constituency, Catherine Abenlema Afeku for sidelining artistes from Ellembelle and Jomoro Districts.

Some of the artistes and industry players have expressed their disappointments in a WhatsApp group called Nzema Showbiz Awards 2019.

One of the members posted the flyer of the concert in the group and wrote;

“Good morning family , Nzema what is actually happening , This is total partiality and it won’t help us , how can u add only artist from our area whiles we invite u guys anytime we are doing program at our area , kundum is for Nzema and not Evalue alone and we have Nzema entertainment that we are all pushing , so if u do this , are u helping us ??

Pls take note , NO EVALUE OR AXIM ARTIST WILL BE ON BILL AT OUR AREA WETHER FREE OR PAID !
THEY SHOULD DO THEIR OWN THING THERE”.

The majority of members in the group have ranted about the sidelining of the artistes based in Ellembelle and Jomoro at this year’s Kundum Festival Mega Jam Concert.

Already, flyers are out but we hope some changes could be made to include some artistes based in Ellembelle and Jomoro since the aim is about building the Nzema entertainment industry.

Below are screenshots of their concerns;

Ellembelle NPP Primaries: Business Tycoon, Joseph Apor Adjei Finally Picks Nomination Form To Contest Bonzoh K

0

The former Chief Executive Officer of Boin Susu and Microfinance, Joseph Apor Adjei in his quest to serve the good people of Ellembelle Constituency has finally filed for nomination to contest for the NPP Parliamentary Primaries which has been scheduled for September 28, 2019.

The current District Chief Executive Officer of Ellembelle Constituency, Honorable Kwasi Bonzoh aka Bonzoh K who has contested unopposed and hasn’t faced a tough competitor since 2012 will this time around battle it out with the business tycoon, Joseph Apor Adjei come what may.

According to our sources, Joseph Apor Adjei isn’t contesting on his own accord but has strong backing from NPP members occupying top positions in the NPP-Akufo-Addo led government and that makes the Ellembelle Constituency NPP Parliamentary Primaries a tough one.

The Polling Station Chairman of Baku, Saint Akpoh presenting the nomination form to Joseph Apor Adjei made it clear that the core members of the NPP Party in the Ellembelle Constituency are fully behind him because they see him to be someone capable of unifying the Party which has two camps currently.

Also, their support for him comes on the back of the fact that he has built an ultra-modern office complex for the NPP Party in the Ellembelle Constituency which they were lacking all these years.

“We are supporting him because he has the party at heart and for the first time, the party can boast of an ultra-modern party Office. This office has a 250-seated conference room. Look at what he has done for us, he is not yet an MP but he has started resourcing the party. Please let us all support him”, Saint Akpoh said.

“He is a unifier. We the delegates need him to help more people in Ellembelle as he is doing”, he added.

The business tycoon, Joseph Apor Adjei in his address thanked God and the good people of Ellembelle Constituency for having faith in him and also talked about how unity can help the NPP Party win the Parliamentary seat from NDC’s Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah.

Based on the fact that he has created numerous jobs and employing about 700 youths and also his support and commitment to the NPP Party, he urged all delegates to assess him based on his good works and vote massively for him on September 28, 2019.

NDC’s Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah is currently the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Constituency after unseating NPP’s Freddy Blay in 2012.

It has not been confirmed as to whether or not Armah Kofi Buah will contest the seat for the third time but from all indications, he is likely to run again.

The competition is now tight and we look forward to a free and fair NPP Primaries in the Ellembelle Constituency on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

NzemaMa.com will follow keenly and bring to its cherished readers the developments before and after about the NPP Primaries in the Ellembelle Constituency.
